For those of you that are interested (which is probably not many) and those of you that require a modicum of context in which to place my assorted rantings allow me to furnish you with a brief guide to my whereabouts in this big old world of ours...
I hail from a little town in the United Kingdom (also known as Great Britain in the oxymoronic tongue) called Leamington Spa, situated deep in the heart of the Midlands. This little town has been my home for the last 38 years of my life aside from a brief sojourn of nine months in the neighbouring town of Warwick – which because of its abbreviated appellation you’ll not be surprised to learn is the capital of the English County of Warwickshire. Warwickshire, aside from being renowned for its leafiness and greenness, is also famous for being “Shakespeare’s County" and enfolds the town of Shakespeare’s birth within its verdant borders – Stratford-upon-Avon. The Royal Shakespeare Company keep the bard alive by regularly belting out his plays at the RSC Theatre in this irritatingly touristy town. The County of Warwickshire is also home to Warwick Castle, Kenilworth Castle, Leamington’s famous Spa waters and lord knows how many other dead hot and righteous (dude) tourist attractions, details of which I am sure you can dig up by following the links below:
